I am planning my wife’s Birthday and want to serve drinks from this era. Any help?….Adult drinks of course’+

    i personally was a fan of dr. pepper and rum.. rum and coke floats were delicious too. my parents drank gin martinies which were wildly popular.. as far as fun, fancy drinks, brandy punch, brandy alexanders, tequila sunrise and shirley temples are a must

    Popular 50′s drinks: manhattan, tom collins (or vodka collins), gin martinis were very popular.
    Then of course there’s always champagne, the ladies choice.

    Hey Guys,

    Do you remember the Singapore Sling and the Tom and Jerry? These were drinks that many of us consumed back in the day. When I order one of these drinks now, the waitress or waiter always look at me with a raised eyebrow. They don’t know anything about these drinks, they have to pullout their drink mixing books….This always brings a hearty laugh from us when we see their faces…
