Thanks for the suggestion Jim! I will take a closer look at that place.

My friends and I definitely would like to be able to sit together so we can gossip. That's what we do best As far as price goes, we don't want to break the bank but we do want a quality place with a nice atmosphere. So moderate pricing would be ideal. We haven't decided on the hotel yet, but we are looking at downtown Tampa or the Treasure Island area.

welcome to the forums! as a site admin, I want to make sure everyone's questions are paid attention to. As our user base grows and more people from across the country join, I am sure someone with local knowledge can provide pointed answers based on personal experience. Until then, I will help out my best by utilizing whatever expertise i have.

A thorough search pops up "SB Health & Beauty Day Spa" as a standout. Based on the reviews on the site (http://tampabay.citysearch.com…..y_spa.html) , it seems to be an absolutely wonderful place.

Is there anything else someone should consider when making a suggestion? Are you particularly concerned about price? Being able to sit with your friends as a group? location (in a specific neighborhood of tampa or within a distance of your hotel)? etc?

A couple of my girl friends and I want to go away for a girls weekend and leave the husbands and kids behind! We are thinking about a weekend in Tampa, FL. Can anyone recommend a good spa there? We've looked at some online but I was hoping to get a good personal recommendation.. we are thinking massages, pedicures, manicures..
