Boomers on TIME's Celebrity Fall Book List

The next couple of months will bring books from Michelle Obama, Bernie Sanders, Steve Scalise and Julian Castro...perfect timing considering midterm elections are only a few months away. Not all titles coming out this fall are by political figures, so if you're looking for something else, you're in luck. TIME put together a list of 18 celebrities that have (or recently had) a book come out. Memoirs, reflections, essays...you'll see it all as actors, musicians, athletes and more dive into their lives.

Just for fun, we took a look at the list to determine how many of the books are by baby boomers. The answer? Five. Below are the five titles you could choose from if you're interested in reading about a fellow boomer, along with the release date.

  • In Pieces by Sally Field (out now)
  • The Greatest Love Story Ever Told: An Oral History by Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally (10/2) (Mullally is the baby boomer)
  • GuRu by RuPaul (10/23)
  • Acid for the Children by Flea (11/27)
  • Never Grow Up by Jackie Chan (12/4)

If none of those options interest you, there are plenty of other choices. Some of these could make a nice gift, too. It's not even Halloween, but it's never too early to think about the holidays!
