The Top 8 Companies for Remote Customer Service Jobs

Boulder, CO, February 26, 2019—To help job seekers interested in finding customer service jobs that can be done from home, FlexJobs has identified the top eight companies for remote customer service jobs in 2019. These companies are all featured in FlexJobs’ recently released list of the Top 100 Companies with Remote Jobs in 2019, which was determined after analyzing the remote job posting histories of over 51,000 companies in the FlexJobs database during 2018. Out of the Top 100 Companies with Remote Jobs, these eight companies are currently recruiting for the largest number of remote customer service jobs.

“Customer service is one of the most popular job categories for FlexJobs members. Our Top 100 list has consistently featured a healthy number of companies offering customer service positions, which are highly compatible with remote work,” said Sara Sutton, founder and CEO of FlexJobs. “These types of roles allow for tremendous flexibility, making them an ideal career choice for caregivers, stay-at-home parents, and professionals with disabilities, among many others,” Sutton concluded.

The outlook for customer service jobs is bright: the Bureau of Labor Statistics expects to see five percent growth through 2026. While the specific duties vary by industry, they generally include answering questions and requests from customers or the public by phone, email, or live chat, and ensuring customers have a positive experience with the product or service. These positions typically only require a high school diploma and have an average salary of $37,079, according to PayScale.
