Our health is precious, and we don't realize just how much until it is threatened. Be Kind to Yourself

Learning you have a health condition that could change your whole life can be a lot to take on board. It is, therefore, important that you give yourself time to come to terms with the diagnosis. Limit Stress

Stress is a major cause of illness and depression, so you need to avoid it at all costs.  Try to make your life as stress-free as possible by banishing anything from your life that makes you feel frustrated or low.

If you are concerned about the future of your career and whether or not you will still be able to work when you have this disability, talk to your employer and discuss your options.
